Deputy Chief Minister CM Nitin Patel today met with the leaders of OBC, ST, SC in this regard. After meeting with all the leaders, the government decided to change the circular of the LRD reserve. In addition, theoretical reforms will also be made in the circular. For the last 64 days, the LRD women examiners have descended on the agitation at the Satyagraha Cantonment in Gandhinagar, demanding the cancellation of this circular. Leaders including Alpesh Thakor, Minister Kunwarji Bawalia, Minister Dilip Thakor explained to cure them. But the agitating women did not believe and said that we would be satisfied only after receiving the written notice that the circular was canceled.

August 2018, the state released a total of 9,713 vacancies for the Police Department's LRD cadre. There were about 3077 seats for women, which were tested on January 6, 2019. The merit of this test was released on October 31. In which the merit of the high merit candidates in the reserved category was excluded from the General Merit. Against this, women candidates from across the state have landed in Gandhinagar.

Home Minister added that Chief Minister and Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Chief Minister and Chief Minister Nayantal Parimal and Chief Minister Narayana Nayangh and Chief Minister Narayana Nayanjal for non-reserved category discrepancies in SC, ST, and OBC as a result of the inconsistency implemented in the paper on August 1, 2018, in respect of various recruitment processes of the state government. The presentation was made by female candidates. In view of this, the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister have fully assured that no candidates will be harmed in the context of reservation, while women should take their own movement.

As per GR dated August 1, 2018, women candidates in the reserved category have been excluded from the General Merit. Against this, more than 100 women have been raiding at the Satyagraha Cantonment in Gandhinagar for almost 64 days. On the other hand, the women candidates of the disagreeable category, Gandhinagar, came out and filed an application not to cancel the GR. The government has given 33 per cent reservation to women in the recruitment of police, however, according to the circular dated August 1, 2018, the selection will be made only in the category in which the female candidate has filled the form. That is, if a woman has filled out the form in the OBC category, she cannot be found in the General category. Due to this GR, the situation was such that women candidates in some reserved category had more makers than women in general category and EWS category but they were deprived of jobs when they did not get in the general category.
